About the Role

Borea Construction, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and success in the wind and solar energy markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret various contracts, commercial documents, and notices related to construction projects, including call for proposals, construction, procurement, engineering, financing, confidentiality, mortgage, notice of default or change, claims, etc.
  • Develop and update contract models, as well as various tools, including policies and procedures, to facilitate the management and understanding of contracts by internal teams.
  • Advise management and internal teams on a daily basis on legal requirements and risks, as well as the conduct of business and operations, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including construction, real estate, trade, employment, immigration, environment, and competition, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide legal advice on dispute resolution and claims management using a proactive and practical approach focused on solutions and prevention.
  • Manage litigation, from time to time, in collaboration with external lawyers.
  • Manage structuring projects for the organization.
  • Provide training, from time to time, to internal teams.
  • Perform any other task related to the position of Senior Legal Counsel.
