Position Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Lead Corporate Communications Strategist. This role requires a strategic visionary with a solid background in corporate communications, public relations, and media engagement. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in bolstering our corporate image, overseeing both internal and external communications, and supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement extensive communication strategies to elevate the company's brand reputation and market visibility;
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure communication strategies are in sync with business goals;
- Establish and nurture strong connections with key media outlets and public relations firms;
- Handle media inquiries and proactively propose stories to enhance favorable coverage of the company's initiatives, products, and events;
- Create and distribute clear, engaging, and consistent messaging across all communication platforms, including press releases, executive addresses, and internal communications;
- Ensure all corporate communications reflect the company's mission, vision, and values;
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies to manage and mitigate potential risks to the company's reputation;
- Supervise the production of high-quality content for corporate announcements, investor communications, and social media channels;
- Oversee the company's editorial calendar to guarantee timely content delivery;
- Manage the company's corporate presence on social media, including content strategy, engagement, and monitoring;
- Foster the company's relationships with local communities and the broader public through outreach programs and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives;
- Enhance internal communication strategies to boost employee engagement and alignment with corporate objectives;
- Communicate organizational changes, such as restructuring, new policies, or strategic initiatives to employees.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline;
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally within the fashion or retail sector;
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity;
- Proven expertise in managing media relations and crisis communications;
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic communication plans;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities;
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines;
- Proficiency in communication and content management tools;
- Creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
