About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Fitters Foreman/Woman to join our team at Gisborne Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of sprinkler fitters and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sprinkler system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification an asset.
