About the Job

Gisborne Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler System Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of our sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our piping and sprinkler systems installation and maintenance team
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with industry regulations
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement new sprinkler system installations
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
  • Monitor and report on system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sprinkler system installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating teams
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid certification in gas fitting, plumbing, and sprinkler system installation
