About the Role

Gisborne Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Fitters Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of sprinkler fitters and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sprinkler system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
