About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Tomoda Healthcare Solutions Inc. as a Home Care Support Worker. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with feeding, to ensure clients receive adequate nutrition.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care, as required, under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
