About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Michelle Nassrallah. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for Pets: Provide care and attention to our clients' pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the love and attention they deserve.
  • Administer Bedside and Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to help our clients maintain their independence.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to our clients, as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Exercise and Mobility: Support our clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to help maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation, to help maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care activities, such as toileting, bathing, and dressing, to help our clients maintain their dignity and independence.
  • Shopping and Errands: Assist with grocery shopping and other errands, helping our clients to maintain their independence and access the resources they need.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality; Client focus; Dependability; Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral communication; Flexibility; Initiative; Judgement; Organized; Reliability; Team player; Patience; Honesty
