Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Performance Manager to join our team at Tommy Hilfiger. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving store performance, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining store appearance, and controlling expenses and shortages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Profit Growth: Generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and ensure the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify and implement strategies to achieve and exceed business goals.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Oversee and maintain customer service standards to the highest possible level.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate professionally and effectively with associates and support services within the company.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the Tommy Hilfiger image through personal and professional appearance.
  • Store Operations: Take responsibility for productivity and profitability of the store, including sales growth, staffing, and inventory results.
  • Time Management: Manage time and prioritize tasks.
Operations and Leadership
  • Operations Compliance: Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and operations.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the store.
  • Problem-Solving: Recognize problems, analyze causes, and generate alternatives/solutions.
  • Expense Management: Manage controllable expenses, including payroll allocation.
  • Partnerships and Community Engagement: Create partnerships with mall, local community, and corporate partners to identify business opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Maintain productivity in shipment processing, inventory counting, and price change activities.
  • Resource Utilization: Ensure store utilization of necessary tools and resources.
  • Store Openings and Closings: Manage store openings and closings.
  • Direction and Task Completion: Take direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Leadership and Development
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, motivate, and supervise support management and sales staff.
  • Associate Development: Develop associates to be knowledgeable in product, merchandising, operations, customer service, sales, and growth.
  • Team Motivation: Motivate and develop support staff to meet store goals and objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Supervision and Awareness: Effectively supervise the sales floor to ensure customer and associate awareness.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate teamwork within the store and company.
  • Confidentiality and Commitment: Maintain confidentiality and meet commitments.
  • Personal Responsibility: Take personal responsibility for performance.
  • Meetings and Communication: Participate in weekly management meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
  • Emotional Resilience: Display emotional resilience.
  • Leadership by Example: Lead by example.
Merchandising and Visual
  • Department Supervision: Directly supervise a selected department or departments to maximize performance.
  • Merchandising Execution: Participate in and oversee the execution of merchandising directives, updates, and markdowns.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze and react to business needs, identify top sellers, slow sellers, and fulfillment of merchandising strategy.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency and merchandising standards are consistently met.
  • Knowledge and Organization: Have thorough knowledge of sales floor and stockroom organization and systems.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain store organization, fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness.
