Role Summary:

The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee and manage various accounting functions, focusing on financial reporting and month-end closing processes. This role includes ensuring compliance during year-end reporting, supporting audits, and managing tax filings.

In addition, this position will assist the Corporate Controller with management reporting, budget analysis, cash flow management, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and promote the core values of Riverside in all work-related activities.
  • Inspire and lead the accounting team while adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements monthly and annually for the group of companies.
  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing conditions through intercompany reconciliations.
  • Deliver accurate internal and external financial reports that meet business needs and provide valuable insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging core SAP modules and accounting automation tools to enhance reporting processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure proper controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounting practices.
  • Mentor and support the accounting team, fostering professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all government remittances and act as a key member during annual audits.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process, including reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct research on complex accounting topics as needed.
  • Participate in professional development to maintain accounting designations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA) is required.
  • A degree in Business or a related field with at least 6 years of experience, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food-related environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, is essential.
  • Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and consolidation procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
