We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor entrances and ensure all visitors are following Public Health guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Patrol client properties by foot to prevent unauthorized entry and politely direct disruptive individuals to leave the premises.
- Provide specialized security services and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow and enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Respond to and report irregularities, security breaches, hazards, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize radios, handheld devices, and computer applications to communicate site activity and ensure seamless communication with colleagues.
- Write clear and comprehensive reports, including daily activity reports and incident reports, to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing, to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor, and deportment to provide exceptional service and support.
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and respond to emergencies under pressure while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
- Discretion when handling confidential and private information to maintain trust and confidentiality.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time to perform duties effectively.
- Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license (a valid security license is considered an asset) to ensure compliance and security.
- High school diploma or equivalent and of legal age to meet the minimum educational and age requirements.
