Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Superintendent to join our team at Euro Asia Transload Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing finances.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and train staff to ensure efficient and effective transportation services.
- Financial Management: Manage finances or budget, arrange for shipping documentation, and oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure transport compliance with regulations and establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
- Work Environment: On-site work is required, with no option to work remotely.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
