Position Overview
Title: Manufacturing Team Leader

Key Responsibilities
IPG is seeking applications for a MANUFACTURING TEAM LEADER to join our production team. The Team Leader will utilize lean manufacturing methodologies to oversee safety, quality, and production processes, ensuring an organized and efficient workflow by monitoring operations, team members, and production lines. The objective is to optimize daily activities while minimizing waste, ultimately delivering products that fulfill customer expectations in a safe and profitable manner.
Enforce safety and environmental standards as per Federal, Provincial, and Company regulations. Promote and lead lean initiatives within the team; support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, employee development, and cost management. Ensure all team members adhere to IPG policies, procedures, and company standards. Complete production objectives by scheduling and assigning tasks to team members; achieving work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; adjusting schedules; resolving issues; and reporting production outcomes. Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify and support process improvements and preventative maintenance efforts. Provide manufacturing insights by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance data; addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests. Generate and analyze reports, work orders, and production schedules to assess production needs and evaluate current usage. Ensure all team members receive adequate training for their roles, maintaining up-to-date records for review. Foster positive working relationships through an open-door policy, ensuring a respectful and equitable work environment. Manage performance issues for employees who do not comply with company policies and procedures.Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Commerce, or Economics. 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. At least 5 years of supervisory experience; experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal communication and team management skills. Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, with excellent knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, familiarity with MRP software, and a solid understanding of query-based software tools.Intertape Polymer offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and is dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.
