About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at 2284273 Alberta Ltd. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, including conferences, exhibitions, and social gatherings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and logistics.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Budgeting: Manage event budgets, including vendor contracts and expense tracking.
  • Logistics: Coordinate event setup, staging, and teardown, as well as manage event schedules and timelines.
  • Marketing: Assist with event promotion and marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
