We are seeking a dedicated Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations at Digital Consultants Canada Incorporated. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 30 hours per week with a focus on delivering exceptional support within a private sector environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Leadership: Review and enhance administrative processes to improve efficiency.
- Team Management: Delegate tasks effectively to office support personnel and supervise a team of 3-4 individuals.
- Operational Oversight: Establish work priorities, ensuring adherence to procedures and deadlines.
- Policy Administration: Manage policies related to information access and privacy legislation.
- Office Coordination: Plan and coordinate office services, including supplies, maintenance, and security.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory controls.
- Reporting: Compile data and generate periodic reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Data Management: Perform data entry and oversee payroll administration.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts that arise within the office.
Education: A college or CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
Skills and Competencies- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Office Suite, Google Drive, and LinkedIn.
- Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a reliable team player.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently under pressure while managing tight deadlines.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
This position is based in an urban area and may require relocation, with associated costs not covered by the employer. Free parking is available for employees.
