The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Onboarding Team is seeking a Senior Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role, focusing on the integration of applications into RBC's Identity and Access Management frameworks, aligning with the IAM onboarding strategy and objectives. This position necessitates collaboration with a diverse array of technology and business stakeholders to execute IAM solutions effectively. You will pinpoint business challenges and opportunities, providing recommendations that empower the organization to fulfill its objectives and meet the needs of sponsors and stakeholders.

We are in search of a driven, flexible, and forward-thinking individual with expertise in IAM and cloud technologies, who is willing to challenge conventional practices and continuously seeks flexibility, robustness, and simplicity in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to clarify the onboarding process and gather requirements.
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end onboarding for services in partnership with business partners and application teams.
  • Acquire knowledge of architectural patterns pertinent to RBC's IAM services.
  • Offer consultative services to ensure adherence to RBC Standards in requirements.
  • Identify and communicate security risks in line with RBC Standards.
  • Track and report on the progress and metrics of Authentication onboarding.
  • Engage in all facets of onboarding testing as requested by the onboarding team, which may include:
    • Reviewing, analyzing, and defining onboarding requirements while contributing to technical development specifications.
    • Creating test case scenarios and assisting in test case documentation.
    • Supporting DEV, SAI (UAT), and PIV testing efforts.
  • Assist with various tasks and ad hoc requests as necessary.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the onboarding process.
  • Provide guidance on the optimization, efficiency, and capacity planning of initiatives.
  • Act as a point of escalation and resolution for incidents and project-related challenges.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster optimal performance.

Qualifications for Success:
Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience with IAM capabilities and solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage, lead, prioritize, and execute tasks with minimal oversight in high-pressure environments, demonstrating emotional intelligence.
  • Strong grasp of authentication protocols (SAML, OAUTH) and experience with SaaS products.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IAM concepts and solution designs for effective security controls.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and negotiate with internal teams for successful task completion.
  • Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, etc.) and Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audience sizes.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with CyberArk, Sailpoint IIQ, and Entra ID.
  • Skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Relevant professional certifications in information security or risk management, such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP.
