The Role

We're seeking a Senior Finance Leader to join our leadership team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for transforming our FP&A and corporate planning processes through process creation, improvement, and people development. You will work closely with our co-founders and other financial leaders to develop and execute plans that drive our short and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our management team through corporate planning and reporting processes to ensure the company attains its growth objectives.
  • Provide strategic oversight to the deployment of capital, driving optimal return on investments.
  • Manage our overall FP&A processes, including monthly reporting and reforecasting of results.
  • Coach and develop junior and intermediate resources within our finance team.
  • Work closely with other leaders across the finance department to build a world-class finance department.
Requirements
  • A business leader with strong experience building and scaling a business.
  • Entrepreneurial DNA, comfortable building a business from the ground up.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong business sense.
  • Excellent EQ, managing relationships with a large external network of partners and building and managing an internal team.
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in leading and developing finance functions at a fast-growing organization, preferably in the tech space.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with FP&A, accounting, and capital management.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to develop concise summaries of complex analyses and data.
  • Disciplined process manager with an obsession for attention to detail.
