Job Title: Parts Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at Thornhill Hyundai. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our parts and service functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize our parts and service operations.
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of our service team to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Plan and organize the operational logistics of our service department, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work and ensure that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff and provide training and development opportunities to ensure that our team is equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our service operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, and paramedical services coverage are available to eligible employees.

Working Conditions:
  • 30 to 40 hours per week of work.
