Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Gemstar Security Service Ltd.
Job Summary:The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. The successful candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of clients and their properties.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential security threats.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security response.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and report on security incidents and trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a security supervisory role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Security Supervisor will work in a variety of locations, including office and field settings. The successful candidate will be required to work a 35-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as required.
