About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Les Soeurs de l'Assomption SV. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist residents with eating.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including making beds and cleaning patient rooms.
  • Transportation: Transport residents in wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Communication: Respond to call signals and determine residents' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Vulnerable sector check and criminal record check required.
Work Environment

As a Personal Care Assistant at Les Soeurs de l'Assomption SV, you will work in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
