Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Advisor to join our team in Saint John, NB. As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, and selling new policies to existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing ongoing client needs and advising on insurance matters
  • Selling new policies and writing new business to existing and new clients
  • Contacting underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
  • Preparing documentation for insurers and completing applications for clients
  • Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Actively participating in training initiatives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • A valid insurance license for New Brunswick or willingness to obtain the same
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Ability to thrive and be successful in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
