Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic recreation methodologies to promote wellness.
  • Provide leadership in clinical settings and ensure effective coordination of patient care.
  • Engage in the creation and enhancement of recreational programs, focusing on continuous quality improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and maintain open communication with clients and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related discipline.
  • Current registration with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical recreation therapy role.
