Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Fraud Product Technology, Governance Risk Control function. As a key member of our Technology Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating operational and regulatory risk, while driving a strong governance and internal control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and TD Bank's risk management framework.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology operations, including fraud detection and prevention.
  • Develop and maintain effective risk management processes and controls to ensure the integrity of our technology systems and data.
  • Provide guidance and support to technology teams to ensure they are aware of and comply with risk management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on risk exposure and trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors/partners.
  • Manage and oversee a team of risk management professionals to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in governance, risk and controls, with a focus on technology operations.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in risk management, with experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with risk management software and tools, such as ServiceNow.
