As a Senior Associate in Product Governance, you will play a crucial role in supporting the WME Product Owners and Risk Owners in managing product governance processes. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Implement new and improved processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with the line manager to execute the integration plan for Product Governance and ensure timely review of products and services.
- Produce Management Information (MI) and reporting to management committees and project teams as needed.
- Draft papers with the support of Product Owners and line managers, ensuring timely release for risk assessment and review.
- Manage key milestones in the Product Governance processes to ensure papers reach the New Business Committee within agreed timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of product governance requirements, including PROD, PRIN, and COLL rulebooks.
- Understanding of Consumer Duty and underlying responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service and experience working with stakeholders.
- Risk awareness experience and strong organizational, communication, and influencing skills.
- Excellent Microsoft technical competency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and asset management.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as the CISI, IOC, CFA, or ACA.
- Understanding of the products and services offered by Royal Bank of Canada in Europe and Brewin Dolphin in the UK.
