Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker at Yen Wo Enterprise Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop care and farm maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest crops at the appropriate time to ensure maximum quality and freshness.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
  • Perform general farm duties as required, including examining product for quality and its readiness for the market.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential.
  • Overtime may be required, and the work term is seasonal.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rural area, outdoors, with exposure to dusty, hot, and wet/damp conditions.

Language

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate must be proficient in this language.

Transportation

The successful candidate must have their own transportation to and from work.
