Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker at Yen Wo Enterprise Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, harvesting, and farm maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest crops at the appropriate time to ensure maximum quality and freshness.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
  • Perform general farm duties as required, including examining product for quality and its readiness for the market.
Requirements
  • Experience in agriculture or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical labor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to dust, heat, and wet/damp conditions.
  • Own transportation is required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rural area with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical labor.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 42 to 72 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
