About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Paris Bakery & Pastry Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our food service establishment meets all health and safety regulations, and that our staff are aware of and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
