Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled English Language Coordinator - Vessel Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This specialist will play a crucial role in defining and implementing next-generation processes for managing our assets and increasing the reliability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Rotation Scheduling: Plan and implement rotation schedules of ship personnel in accordance with our procedures, specified experience, and qualification requirements.
- Support to Shipboard Senior Management: Provide support and assistance to shipboard senior management in the implementation of the collective agreement, safety, and on-board management.
- Collaboration with Shipboard and Shore-Based Groups: Work in collaboration with shipboard and shore-based groups in the implementation of our safety culture.
- Crew-Related Emergencies: Respond to and deal with crew-related emergencies after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis.
- Return to Work Programs: Monitor and facilitate return to work programs and coordinate the efforts of the crewing team and the CSL risk department to promote return to work.
- Education: College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field such as Logistics.
- Experience: Experience in a transportation industry, in HR.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French and English, verbal and written.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel.
