Job Summary

Church's Chicken McCowan Road is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, cashiers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Supervise the assembly and packaging of food orders, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
    • Coordinate the ordering and receipt of supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive excellent service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance, and training.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Initiative and ability to work independently
