Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern, you will enhance your existing skills by showcasing essential capabilities as a dedicated and industrious individual who excels in tackling challenges. Your role will involve developing new testing strategies and refining existing methodologies within our QA Department.

Project Involvement:
Your projects will encompass the formulation of manual GUI tests as well as the automation of GUI testing processes. Some testing tasks will necessitate innovative approaches to identify rapid and efficient testing solutions, alongside determining the appropriate environment and code-supported automation.

Collaboration:
You will be expected to actively contribute to ongoing testing initiatives, executing established testing strategies through discussions with Senior QA team members.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program, focusing on Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
  • Availability for an extended internship period
  • Previous experience in application development using Java or C++ is advantageous
  • Completion of coursework in networking and operating systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Capability to work independently while seeking guidance when necessary
  • Eagerness and skill in identifying and reporting software issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with JUnit and principles of Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience in Java web development utilizing servlet technology
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins
  • Background in multi-tiered or multi-threaded application development
  • Basic understanding of ant, Eclipse, GIT, and database management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely achievement of project milestones
  • Assist in guaranteeing that projects are executed with adequate automated and manual testing to reduce defects
  • Create and execute new test cases, whether manual or automated
  • Document testing procedures for product GUIs and maintain a regression testing schedule
  • Analyze testing outcomes and provide constructive feedback
  • Perform additional related duties as required to support the organization's ongoing needs
