Position Overview

We are seeking a Software QA and Deployment Lead with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to enhance our engineering and development team. This role primarily concentrates on our web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and uphold the software Quality Control processes and protocols;
  2. Conduct testing across various projects, including Web Applications, APIs, and backend data processing;
  3. Implement automation in testing wherever feasible;
  4. Oversee software deployment from Development to Quality Assurance to Production;
  5. Collaborate on the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps methodologies;

General Duties

  1. Engage in the development, integration, and deployment of web applications;
  2. Analyze and review software requirements;
  3. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases;
  4. Identify, document, and report software defects;
  5. Work closely with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot issues;
  6. Ensure that the final product adheres to established quality benchmarks;
  7. Manage product releases and deployments across various environments;
  8. Advocate for and adhere to software security standards;

Required Qualifications

  1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline;
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  3. Familiarity with software development methodologies and processes;
  4. Experience with various testing tools and techniques;
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  6. Background in software development;
  7. AWS experience is advantageous;

This position requires in-office attendance. Candidates must possess a valid permit to work unrestricted and full-time in Canada.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually
