Technical Knowledge Specialist (Sales Support)

Fujitsu Limited is in search of a proficient Technical Knowledge Specialist to enhance our innovative team. This position demands a robust technical background and the capability to convert intricate technical information into persuasive proposal content. As a crucial member of our Pursuit Centre, you will play a key role in developing impactful bid materials and advancing knowledge management within the bid team and our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Craft engaging technical documentation tailored to various client needs, including proposals, case studies, and references.
  2. Technical Interpretation: Simplify complex technical documents into clear language for bid submissions, ensuring comprehensibility and effectiveness.
  3. Knowledge Acquisition: Collect, organize, and preserve valuable insights and expertise from multiple sources within the organization.
  4. Knowledge Dissemination: Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, enabling effective communication across departments and teams.
  5. Content Oversight: Manage the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of knowledge repositories and databases.
  6. Knowledge Assessment: Identify essential areas of expertise and collaboration opportunities, mapping the organizational knowledge framework.
  7. Technology Utilization: Employ innovative technological solutions to optimize knowledge sharing practices.
  8. Performance Measurement: Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives on organizational success.
  9. Stakeholder Collaboration: Interact with stakeholders to comprehend knowledge requirements and align initiatives with business objectives.
  10. Support Services: Address spontaneous requests from the bid team, providing prompt assistance and expertise as needed.
  11. Continuous Development: Regularly assess and enhance knowledge management strategies to meet changing business demands.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Fujitsu products and services, ERP systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft, Oracle).
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
  • Analytical Skills: Competence in analyzing data and generating actionable insights.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Strategic Focus: Capacity to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Relevant Experience: 8-10 years of experience in technical sales, content creation, or related areas.
  • IT Services Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT services and solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication: Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Independence and Multitasking: Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingualism in English and French is preferred but not essential.
  • Software Skills: Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and CRM software is advantageous.
