About the Role:
As a Room Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary duties will include:
- Delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms, ensuring that all requests are met and that the guest's experience is exceptional.
- Greeting guests, providing engaging descriptions of menu items, and communicating options for tray and dishware removal.
- Breaking down, cleaning, and setting up room service tables, condiment setups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations.
- Anticipating guest needs, assessing satisfaction, and offering suggestions to enhance their experience.
- Closing guest checks accurately, securing room numbers and signatures, and handling voided checks or complimentary meals appropriately.
- Fostering a harmonious and professional work environment, collaborating effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Food and Beverage, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for all aspects of food and beverage.
- A proficient command of the English language.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, coupled with a dedication to customer service.
- Possession of the Serving it Right Certificate.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
