Job Description

SRA Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft.NET Developer to join our team of experienced professionals. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and building core application components using Microsoft.NET, deployed on Azure and internal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and build core application components using Microsoft.NET, deployed on Azure and internal infrastructure.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team during the design, development, testing, and implementation phases, including code review and performance tuning.
  • Complex Component Development: Develop complex components using Microsoft.NET, SQL Server, Azure, and User Interface frameworks.
  • Security and Compliance: Work with Microsoft Entra, Entra External ID, and Active Directory to maintain security for external users and staff.
  • Web Solution Development: Build a modern, maintainable web solution to meet the program's long-term needs.
  • Technical Feedback: Provide technical feedback on business requirements, identifying potential solutions and associated risks.
  • Interface Solutions: Create interface solutions, including APIs and messaging.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation to support the project and transition knowledge to support teams.
  • Status Reporting: Provide work time estimates and regular status reports to the Project Manager.
  • Defect Resolution: Diagnose and resolve system defects.
  • Partner Liaison: Liaise with healthcare and technical partners to represent the client's technical needs and solutions.
Deliverables
  • Environment Familiarization: Quickly familiarize with the current state of the environment and development processes.
  • Project Guidance: Provide guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with existing project charters and plans.
  • Progress Reporting: Regular status reports on progress.
  • Environment Redesign: Complete the redesign and refactoring of the environment.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • .NET Software Development: Advanced knowledge of.NET software development, programming, workflow analysis, networks, and protocols.
  • Database Management: Experience maintaining SQL Server databases (internal and Azure) containing sensitive data and managing data flow throughout the application.
  • Security Technologies: Proficiency in security technologies such as Microsoft Entra, Entra External ID, and Active Directory.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for developing and presenting complex information to varied audiences.
  • Leadership: Leadership and supervisory skills to coordinate with project teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
  • Cooperative Working Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Diploma: Diploma in Computer Technology or equivalent.

Experience

  • Development Experience: 5+ years of development experience using.NET.
  • Healthcare IT Experience: Preferred: 3+ years of healthcare IT experience, including knowledge of data integration and interfaces.
  • Integrated Environments: Experience working in highly integrated environments.
  • Technical Team Management: Experience managing and mentoring technical development teams.

Work Arrangement

Primarily remote, with occasional in-person attendance at meetings/workshops as required. Preference will be given to candidates based in proximity to the project's main office.
