About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at 2383875 Alberta Inc. as a Kitchen Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Management
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all staff members have basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.

    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
    • Basic security clearance.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
