You will act as the key liaison between TWU Athletics and the Langley Events Centre (LEC), coordinating practice schedules, games, and events for Spartan Athletics while ensuring top-notch customer service. Core Responsibilities

  • Spartan Camps: Aid in the planning and execution of Spartan Sports Camps, overseeing camp personnel, registration processes, and daily operations.
  • Game Day Management: Collaborate with the team to manage logistics for game days, promotions, and ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
  • Event Promotions: Engage in the marketing and promotion of Spartan Athletics events, maintaining effective communication with on-campus partners.
  • Concessions Management: Assist in overseeing gym and field concessions, ensuring high-quality service during events.
  • Annual and Special Events: Support the organization of various events hosted by Spartan Athletics, working closely with LEC staff for effective event execution.
  • Provide general administrative assistance and fulfill office responsibilities.
  • Assist with first aid and CPR as necessary.

Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in elite-level sports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in first aid practices and computer usage for administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with sports statistics software and facility operations.
  • Ability to uphold safety standards and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: A minimum of an undergraduate degree. First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.

Experience: 1-2 years in sports camp and athletic event management.

Equipment Utilized: PC computers, facility systems, and various event-related equipment.
