We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient processing of payments, updating customer files, and maintaining quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the processing of payments and update customer files to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries.
- Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines.
- Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence.
- Ensure bankruptcy filings are processed in the correct manner when received.
- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment.
- Comply with all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Log all customer payments to the correct reports.
- Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cash Collections.
- Command of Collect Outstanding.
- Collection Processes experience.
- Experience with consumer collections.
- Proficiency in Collecting Payments.
- Adeptness in Collector.
- 2+ years of prior high volume collections experience.
- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software.
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred.
