About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Colas Western Canada Inc. in Crescent Valley, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain asphalt plants to ensure efficient and safe production of high-quality asphalt products.
  • Monitor and control blending systems, aggregates, and AC oils to achieve optimal mix designs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure worker safety.
  • Communicate effectively with workers and quality control teams to ensure high-quality production and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate and manage daily plant operations, including tracking production numbers and statistics.

Requirements

  • Class 5 Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in asphalt equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience in a road construction company is an asset.
