Job Title: Physiotherapist

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and developing programs to improve the physical function and mobility of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and education, to promote optimal recovery and function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services as needed.
  • Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and industry developments to maintain expertise and provide exceptional care.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration and licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is recommended.
  • Experience in extended care rehabilitation and supervisory experience are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages (English and French).
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation services and ability to work closely with personnel.
  • Meets physical and mental health requirements of the position.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload, recognize self-development opportunities, and maintain a satisfactory employment record.
  • Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry Check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.

Working Conditions:

  • This position provides services to multiple sites, requiring travel between locations.
  • Assignment and hours of work are subject to change as per operational requirements.
