Job Summary

The Physiotherapist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with our rehabilitation services personnel to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical and functional limitations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and goals
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

  • Current active registration and licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
  • Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is recommended
  • Experience in extended care rehabilitation is an asset
  • Supervisory experience is preferred

Working Conditions

The Physiotherapist must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
