As a key member of the Finance and Strategy division, your primary responsibility will be to assist our business executives in making informed financial and strategic choices. A comprehensive understanding of our B2B partners and end customers, along with business drivers, will be essential in guiding Hopper's growth and product direction.

To excel in this position, you must grasp the overarching vision while being willing to delve into intricate details and numerical data, possessing a robust understanding of complete P&L modeling. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools are also required.

Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate improved strategic decision-making for business leaders by providing data insights and a thorough understanding of financial trade-offs across our B2B and B2C product sectors.
  • Collaborate with leadership in product and commercial teams to enhance B2B pipeline conversion and successfully scale new B2B partnerships.
  • Develop, revise, and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Generate internal reports for business leaders to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Establish business reporting metrics and dashboards, including managing pipeline reporting through SQL, Salesforce, and Data Studio.
  • Analyze financial and operational factors to shape our short and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Engage in finance-related optimization projects.
  • Work alongside various business sectors to accurately represent recent trends in all modeling and financial reporting.
  • Automate reporting processes and derive insights using SQL / Big Query.


Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a leading tech organization; previous experience in investment banking is a plus.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the technology sector is highly advantageous.
  • Background in FP&A or strategic finance, particularly with commercial teams in B2B settings.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving capabilities, with extensive modeling experience.
  • Proficient in SQL, with advanced expertise being a plus.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • A passion for research and a curiosity to tackle challenging questions using data.
