Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Linens and Laundry: Stock linen closet, launder clothing and household linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
