About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Landscaping Laborer to join our team at Nature's Edge Design Build Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance
  • Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, roto-tillers, and small engine equipment
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth and health
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with equipment operation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of landscaping principles and practices
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • First aid and CPR certification
