Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1456339 B.C. LTD. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for improving our food service operations.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and standing for extended periods.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
