Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator who will play a crucial role in managing inventory systems and ensuring the accuracy of food and beverage stock across our culinary operations. This position involves utilizing inventory management software and point-of-sale systems to support our food and beverage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and training on inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Conduct audits of inventory reports and communicate findings to relevant team members.
  • Analyze inventory variances and collaborate with culinary teams to implement cost control measures.
  • Oversee monthly inventory counts, ensuring compliance with established procedures and addressing discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update the inventory database, including item and recipe management.
  • Optimize inventory organization within the management system to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of sales data and revenue generation from various culinary operations.
  • Verify recipe accuracy and ensure proper documentation of weights and measures.
  • Assist in menu development and provide insights on pricing strategies based on financial analysis.
  • Conduct training sessions for new users of the inventory management system.
  • Foster strong relationships with all food and beverage departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Monitor consumption rates and recommend alternative products to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Review waste logs and sales data to identify areas for improvement in inventory management.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues affecting inventory operations, escalating as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with various business units to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage operations; culinary education is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Food Safe certification and Serving It Right certification are required.
