About the Role

Bloom Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Assist clients in safely ambulating and transferring, and perform delegated tasks as required.
  • Promote client independence and provide psychological and emotional support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for both clients and staff.
Requirements
  • PSW certification or diploma is a must.
  • First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (within 1 year).
  • Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Tb test and Immunizations (up to date).
