We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza Squamish. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and a positive dining experience.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and machinery.
- Prepare and submit reports and records as required.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and high-quality food. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
