We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Mexican Corner Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Monitor and control food and labor costs to ensure profitability.
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment

The Mexican Corner Restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
