Kamloops Electric Motor Sales & Services Ltd. is a leading provider of industrial electric motors and services. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our company and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the effectiveness of the management team and ensure the company's goals are met.
- Select, orient, train, coach, counsel, and discipline managers and staff as needed.
- Plan, monitor, and appraise job results to ensure quality and productivity.
- Oversee and manage the operations to ensure cohesion among all departments and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize the strength of our product network to drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and drive operational performance.
- Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed annual sales and margin projections.
- Support operational performance to maximize efficiency, productivity, and sales revenues.
- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, operations, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of management experience.
- Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
- Quality program experience, such as ISO, CSA, UL, considered an asset.
- Experience managing a team of professionals.
- Excellent time management skills with strong diligence.
- Upgrading, training in related disciplines, such as safety, quality, leadership skills, technical ability.
- Proficient computer experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office.
- Industrial Service Business to Business background considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
