Job Title: General Manager

Kamloops Electric Motor Sales & Services Ltd. is a leading provider of industrial electric motors and services. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our company and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the effectiveness of the management team and ensure cohesion among all departments.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of product marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions.
  • Actively maintain customer relations, including attending customer meetings, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Take part in reviewing insurance, banking, auditing, employee issues, contract negotiations, and other board-related aspects of the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, operations, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of management experience.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • Quality program experience, such as ISO, CSA, UL, considered an asset.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals.
  • Excellent time management skills with strong diligence.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
