Job Summary:

The Automotive Lubrication Technician plays a vital role in the service department at Brian Jessel BMW. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to maintain vehicles to the industry's highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil services and fluid replacements according to BMW specific procedures and schedules.
  • Carry out air filter and microfilter replacements, and vehicle inspections to provide a comprehensive review of the vehicle's current condition.
  • Repair and replace tires, and perform four-wheel alignments using BMW's state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Ensure repairs are performed efficiently to the BMW standard of quality.
  • Correcting tire pressures to maximize tire wear.
  • Performing engine cleanings if required.
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
  • Thoroughly inspecting customers' vehicles for oil leaks.
  • Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain and clean shop equipment.
  • Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with the desire to continuously learn.
  • Must be able to work independently and in team setting.
  • Strong time management and organizational Skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean current abstract.

Work Environment:

  • 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Thursday.
  • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday.
  • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday.
  • 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday & Statutory Holidays.

Compensation: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
